Fans can expect to learn new things about the Star Wars universe as they watch Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
Every time a new piece of Star Wars material comes out, it adds a new chapter to the huge and always-growing franchise. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor does a great job of telling its own Star Wars story without messing with the canon, but that doesn’t stop the game from adding its own details to the lore.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor takes a lot of risks, and most of them pay off. Whether it’s for the story or the game, it’s all canon, and it adds to what people already know about canon Star Wars lore.
A Hidden World For The Jedi

Since Order 66 started the Jedi Purge, the world hasn’t been a safe place for Force-sensitive people or Jedi who managed to stay alive. Still, there is hope in the world. Cal Kestis and the crew of the Mantis found an oddity in space that led them to a hidden planet called Tanalorr.
During the time of the High Republic, a Jedi Knight named Dagan Gera was the first person to find Tanalorr. Gera wanted to build a Jedi Temple here so that it would be a stronghold for the Order. Now that Cal Kestis is free from the Empire, he will use Tanalorr as his home and a place where Force-sensitive people can be at peace.
Another Gen’Dai

The Gen’Dai have been in Star Wars Legends for a long time, but they are dying to come back. Their fighting spirit, ability to grow new limbs, and sharp minds make them a real threat to the Jedi, which is why it’s so important that Rayvis is in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
Even though the Gen’Dai have been canon in Star Wars again for a while, Rayvis is the first time they have shown up in a video game. Most people are only familiar with Durge the bounty hunter, so Rayvis is a different Gen’Dai.
Fragments Of The High Republic

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is the first computer game to show an interesting part of Star Wars’ history. The High Republic is the newest part of the Star Wars storyline. It takes place a few hundred years before Order 66 brought down the Jedi.Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has a lot to do with the High Republic. There are droids, training rooms for Jedi, and a Jedi who is still alive.
Dagan Gera, who may be the last Jedi from the High Republic to still be alive, is one of the most important people in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. It’s great to see how a member of the High Republic responds to the Galactic Empire taking over and the death of the Jedi Order.
Jedha’s Importance

Jedha is an important moon for the Jedi. Pilgrims would go there to get spiritual advice, and people who were strong in the Force could feel its presence. Jedha was where the Hidden Path and the two Jedi who were still alive, Cere Junda and Eno Cordova, did their work.
Jedha had a library with all the remaining Jedi records, including contacts that could help Force-sensitive people get around the galaxy safely. But even though Jedha is important, it doesn’t change the fact that the Death Star destroyed it before the events of A New Hope.
Darth Vader Strikes Again

Darth Vader is known to be one of the most feared killers of Jedi in the galaxy far, far away. In Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Darth Vader’s other task is to go to Jedha and kill any Jedi who are still alive there. Vader is a scary man, but that doesn’t stop Cere Junda from making her last fight.
Darth Vader is a killing machine who kills Cere and with her destroys the Jedi files. Now that the last surviving Jedi is dead, Vader’s task is done. Since Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is set in the same year as Obi-Wan Kenobi, it makes you wonder what mission Palpatine will give him next.
Remnants Of Separatist Forces

On Koboh, there are still problems from the Clone Wars. The Bedlam Raiders and modified battle droids are causing trouble. The return of technology from the Clone Wars shows that some societies still want to use battle droids to fight, even though the war has been over for a long time and the Separatist forces have been left behind.
The Bedlam Raiders can use a lot of Separatist troops, like tanks, spaceships, and even the scary Magna guards. It makes people wonder where else they could see battle droids and if they will ever stop making them.
Jedi Spies

During the Clone Wars, Bode Akuna was a spy for the Galactic Republic. He was part of the Republic Intelligence, a group that spied on Separatist activities and tried to stop them. Bode was a Jedi Knight who worked as a spy during the Clone Wars and learned a lot of skills. These skills would help Bode after the Jedi were killed, when he became useful to the Empire.
Even though Bode Akuna might not be safe from the Inquisitors, it shows how the Empire and the Imperial Security Bureau share power. Bode was kept at the ISB as a spy, a tool for the Empire who doesn’t have to worry about the Inquisitors.
The Crossguard Stance

In Star Wars, there are many well-known ways to fight. Jedi and Sith take turns training in the different ways to use a lightsaber, including the different shapes and blades that Force-sensitive people can use. In the Crossguard stance, one of the newest moves in Star Wars, Cal Kestis uses his blade like a heavy claymore.
This is the first time Star Wars fans have seen this pose and felt how heavy a lightsaber really is. Players can choose to take slow hits, which give them a lot of power but hurt their defence. Fans are wondering if they will see this stance again now that Cal has made it.
Bleeding A Kyber Crystal

Bleeding a Kyber Crystal means giving in to the Dark Side and accepting the anger and fear that would make you a Sith and turn your Kyber Crystal into the feared red blade. Even though this has been said many times, until Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, no one had actually seen a Kyber crystal on a blade bleed red.
When Dagan Gera got his freedom, he didn’t waste any time bleeding his Kyber Crystal, which is something players might want to do when fighting Spawn of Oggdo. People get to see how much stress and anger a crystal is under. It takes a lot of power to make a Kyber crystal bleed, and it’s great to see that for the first time.
New Force Powers

Cal Kestis is very strong with the Force, which works in strange ways. Cal has unique Force abilities that have already been shown in the canon. For example, he can look for Force Echoes. But Funny Shooter 2 game adds even more Force skills that have never been seen before, like a Force Dash and a super Force move that lets Cal embrace the Dark Side and freeze time with a flurry of angry attacks.
Even Dagan Gera, a Jedi from the High Republic, has some great Force skills that have never been seen before. Dagan can use the Force to change the way gravity works and to make his missing right arm work. Dagan can use the Force to use a limb that isn’t there and to project different forms of himself. During the time of the High Republic, these lessons may have been forgotten.
You can now play Star Wars Jedi: Survivor on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
